NOIDA: Home buyers in Greater Noida West (Noida Extension) have written to the Greater Noida Authority (GNIDA) and the National Green Tribunal (NGT) pertaining to non-adherence to the pollution control mechanisms in the area, where a lot of construction is under way.
The letter sent by Noida Extension Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) to the Greater Noida Authority and NGT has listed the NGT notifications which are being flouted by the builders.
Indrish Gupta, co-founder of NEFOWA, said that it was a constant health hazard for residents of Noida Extension. “Doors and windows are perpetually shut and children living in the area are developing breathing problems with the air being dust-laden,” Gupta said.
