NEW DELHI: Real estate advisory firm HDFC Realty has launched a multi-city project launch marketing campaign and is in talks for over 40 housing projects spread across 30 Grade-A real estate developers across India. “We have already launched 10 projects, and will finalise talks for the other projects in 3-4 months,” said Vikram Goel, chief executive officer, HDFC Realty.
The company has recently done a pilot project with Gurgaon-based SARE Homes for selling their properties in Mumbai under the campaign named ‘One India One Launch’, and is in talks with a few of them in south India for the same, according to Goel. “These are micro-market specific project mandates that we are undertaking now. The developer can launch his project in multiple cities through us under this initiative,” he said.
The advisory firm is also planning to launch the second edition of online home sale by November or December this year. “This would be either through the online bidding or lucky draw models, on the HDFC Realty platform itself,” Goel informed. It had launched an online auction for ready-to-move-in homes from grade-A developers in November last year in association with iBidmyHome.com.
HDFC Realty is focusing on real estate broker aggregator route to boost sales and is planning to empanel around 15,000 real estate brokers across India by the end of this financial year. The company has also launched a Beta version of B2B platform for real estate brokers called Prop Partner a week back.
HDFC Realty, a 100% subsidiary of HDFC Limited, has expanded into 38 cities in India and plans to be present in 50 cities by the next quarter. Around 60% of its revenues come from the residential segment, while the other 40% comes from the commercial and consulting businesses.
