BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh government will develop nine new industrial sectors to promote and expand industrialization in the state.
The new sectors will be established in 2,625 hectares of land for which the state cabinet approved a sum of Rs 1,940 crore on Tuesday. The decision has been taken in view of the preparedness of the state government before inviting investors and entrepreneurs.
The new industrial hubs will have all facilities from water to electricity and also infrastructure required for the industries. Industrial townships will be developed in the new areas to ensure commitment for inviting investments. They will be established in industrial areas of Dhar, Jetapur Palasia in Dhar, Badiakhedi in Sehore, Mohasa Babai in Hoshangabad, Padora in Shivpuri, Jhanjarwada in Neemuch, Umaria-Dungaria extension in Jabalpur, Babupur in Satna and IT Park Indore.
The government has also initiated investment promotion scheme for better implementation of the industrial policy.
