NOIDA: The Noida Authority on Monday has received two applications for one of the four group housing plots located in sectors 146 and 147 of the city. The scheme was launched in November this year but its date of finalization was revised twice. The earlier dates for finalization were December 7 and 14. The technical bids for the plots was received on Monday, December 19. While the Authority will now evaluate the bids for technical qualifications, the financial bids will be finalized later this week, said officials.
According to Noida Authority officials, only two applications from developers was received for the four group housing plots located along the 24-km Noida-Greater Noida expressway. “The two applications received are from DLF group and one other builder,” said Santosh Kumar, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Group Housing department, Noida Authority. “These applications will now be evaluated to check if they fulfil the technical requirements. Once this process is done, the bids will be evaluated on the financial aspect. The highest bidder will be allotted the plot,” he said. “We are likely to finalize the financial bids later this week by December 23,” he added. “The applications received are for plot located in sector 147 and measures 14.50 hectares,” he explained.
The four plots to be used for group housing projects are part of the 15% land reserved for residential purposes from the erstwhile SEZ land located along the Noida-Greater Noida expressway, said officials. While two of the four plots are located in sector 146 across about 32 hectares, the other two plots are in sector 147 across 14.50 hectares, each.
