Private jet service for flat owners in Trump Tower

Real Estate developers in Mumbai, where property prices often run into crores, usually offer attractive discounts to customers – from phones and TVs to sometimes even a car. But have you heard of private jet services for customers? That’s exactly what US presidential candidate Donald Trump is offering customers of Trump Tower.
The Republican candidate, who has got a foot into India’s real estate sector, will be the first foreign developer in the country to offer private jet services to every resident residing in Trump Tower in Mumbai.

Of course, this does not mean every resident would have their own private jet in their personal parking. The developer would be offering this exclusive service at the Mumbai International Airport – with a separate counter only for Trump’s customers, and the residents will have to pay for this exclusive service.

One of the world’s most successful real estate moguls, Trump, marks his company’s entry into India’s commercial capital in partnership with the Lodha group.

Samujjwal Ghosh, executive vice president and head of marketing, Lodha Group told India Today, “Trump attracts the richest citizens of the society, from CEOs, industrialists, cricketers, celebrities and other high net worth individuals. Trump Tower will offer a 75-storey golden facade – Mumbai’s first. Trump will also give a private jet service exclusive to its residents, something unheard of in the city.”

Currently, Trump and Lodha group are constructing a six-tower residential project – The Park – in 17 acres with 400-odd apartments at Lower Parel, Mumbai. Trump Tower would be one of the towers in this project with a gleaming golden edifice and golden facade. It will have luxurious 3 and 4-BHK flats, costing in the range of Rs 8 crore to over Rs 10.5 crore.

The Tower would be surrounded by a 7-acre park with views of Arabian Sea, Bandra Worli Sea-Link and Mahalaxmi racecourse. “Almost 50 per cent of the 400 flats in Trump Tower have been sold out,” Ghosh said.

Here’s what Trump and Lodha are offering their customers:
  1. Multiple themed garden, organic herb, spice and vegetable gardens, lotus water garden
  2. Jacuzzi by the waterfall, picnic spots
  3. Seven swimming pools
  4. Air conditioned indoor sports court for tennis and badminton
  5. A cricket ground, 200 metres athletics track
  6. A seven-tier security system which includes CCTV monitoring, RFID identification of vehicles, swipe card access and video door phone
  7. Outdoor cinema, amphitheatre
  8. Ganesh temple, meditation court
  9. Retail shopping complexes with big brands
Trump is quite bullish on India. The company is planning to build a pan-India development business for Trump branded residential and office projects.

A source said the company is targeting Mumbai, Pune, National Capital Region, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad and Goa among locations with good demand for super luxury properties.
