It has been planned to construct around 100 flats in Sominakoppa and 600 flats in Urgadur.

The authority was earlier involved in developing residential layouts and allotting sites there to the people at affordable prices.

Mr. Ramesh said that, if SBUDA decided to allot sites at its land in Sominakoppa and Urgadur, around 200 people would benefit. However, the number of beneficiaries would be around 700 from the apartment project.
